What I do at the moment

I run a media company called Spoiled Milk. We cover a wide range of disciplines, but focus on web application development, usability, print design and branding. Our aim is to hit the sweet spot between art and technology.

Spoiled Milk was conceptualised in Bristol, before establishing a headquarters in Copenhagen during 2005. We are expanding rapidly and have just opened a foreign branch in Zürich where I am now based. My role involves overseeing the company’s technology division, new media consultancy and generally thinking about the future.

I also like to be involved in a diverse range of outside projects. You can read about some of them in the sidebar of this website.

What I have done

I was born in Hereford (HR2) in 1979, but grew up in Cheltenham (GL51) where I attended Bournside School and later the Sixth Form Centre, before studying for a Computer Science degree at Cardiff University (CF14, CF24).

In 2000 I journeyed to Bristol (BS5, BS8 3, BS8 1) where I worked for SN Systems (now Sony Computer Entertainment). I was there for five years writing the development tools, like debuggers and performance tuners, for games consoles.

During this time I also worked at ‘Here‘, a volunteer run art shop and gallery, where I served customers on Sundays and organised events in the basement.

In 2005, after struggling for a while to mix my technical qualifications with my interest in drawing, craft and design, I decided to move to Copenhagen (DK-1367K, DK-2100Ø) and start a company with my friend Casper Hübertz Jørgensen.

After building the foundations of the business and expanding our team during the following three years, I moved to Zürich (CH-8004, CH-8005) in the summer of 2008 to open a foreign office where I’m concentrating on growing our technical department.

I primarily rate my life by postal codes.
