The Quinn name in my family can only be traced back to my great grandfather, Richard Quinn, who left Ireland for England in the late 1800’s seemingly under a bad cloud.
My father’s brother has recently discovered new evidence suggesting that Richard was born in Youghal, County North Tipperary. As the last known surviving members of the Quinn bloodline, we visited Dublin and Youghal this summer to try and determine if we have any distant relatives. I documented what we found and am currently trying to compile a small film about the outcome.
Some raw film stills. More to follow.
